Question: What are the limitations of teacher in-service programs?
Answer: “Showed that while more in-service training was being offered, there were still too few activities, too little time spent and too little teacher involvement to have a major impact on the teaching of writing.” KC Beale-Richards. 1983. P. 204.
Comment: All three of these concerns need to be addressed as well as the role of professional literature in the development of teachers. Teacher involvement is a major concern. RayS.
