Question: How do college
students view plagiarism?

tended to take plagiarism seriously, construing it in terms of fairness to
other writers, responsibility of student independent work, and respect for

Comment: As part of the opening presentation, you
might ask students how they feel about plagiarism. It will be interesting to
see if they concur with this researcher’s findings. More than likely, some will
ask you to define it. That will get the discussion started. RayS.
